full of grumpy bastards

she walked like an angel
as if wings weighed her down
but she could
fly away from everything
without a glance back

she didn’t swagger, exactly
and her modest clothes
garnered more attention
than they should have
if worn by a regular girl

her hair a dull brown
made magnificent by curls
the lights hit her eyes
and everything seemed to sparkle
specially when she smiled

but the most magnificent,
fabulous moment of your life
would be when you heard her sing
her beauty paled to the
soulful notes,
and swayed an entire tavern
full of grumpy bastards

anyone that can move
that kind of crowd
to tears with a song
must be an angel
