plastic men are real

imaged titled “Invasion” on flickr

i’ve been here before
the reflection of those fake ladies
reminds me of home
i didn’t like it then
and i sure as fuck hate it now

they watch you know
when you aren’t looking
seen it on the video screens
their eyes move
at night they primp and preen
as much as any young lady
and i don’t like them

faceless indeed
it’s better the mask
than the monster underneath
i can feign ignorance with a mask
plastic men are evil
they just want to consume
our plaent more than we do
and they don’t care
that we got here first

let’s go somewhere else
i don’t like them
staring at everyone
if i request they look somewhere else
i’m the crazy one

plastic men are real you know
