the wooden man

image titled “nightmare” on flickr

the wooden man
he danced he danced
alone in the woods all day

his wooden nose
people stared! they glanced!
weakness was his vanity

his wooden eyes
they did entranced
turned green by his jealousy

his wooden joints
under financed
his foolish maker must pay

the wooden sword
his hand advanced
the screaming echoed all day
